PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve picture quality by suppressing banding. SOLUTION: Printing is performed on a printing medium while moving a printing head in the main scanning direction. Since the printing is performed by forming dots in the pixels which are arranged in non-parallel with the main scanning direction, the banding which is generated when the dot position is shifted in the main scanning direction or the sub-scanning direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction can be suppressed.
