PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately determine without time or labor in a short time whether recovered power-type extinguishing chemicals can be recycled or not. SOLUTION: The powder-type extinguishing chemicals recovered from an extinguisher are thrown in a container containing water, and it is examined whether air bubbles occur or not. Or the powder-type extinguishing chemicals recovered from the extinguisher is thrown in the container containing water, it is examined whether the internal pressure of the container rises or not. When performing these inspections, air bubbles occur, and the internal pressure of the container rises if a main component of the powder-type extinguishing chemicals contains a different type of component which obstructs the recycling of the powder-type extinguishing chemicals as new powder-type extinguishing chemicals. According to these results, it is possible to determine whether the recovered powder-type extinguishing chemicals can be recycled or not.
