PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which wind from a blower is guided to an upper surface of an evaporation pan and to a compressor to be efficiently used, and capable of securing necessary evaporation quantity even without condensation pipes. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, a machine room 10 is parted at a lower rear part of a heat-insulated casing 1 comprising an outer case 1a, an inner case 1b, and heat insulating material filled between both. The blower 14, the compressor 13, and the evaporation pan 11 above the compressor 13 are disposed in the machine room 10. A bottom center part of the evaporation pan 11 is protruded, and a cylindrical part 11a having an opening part 11b at an upper end is formed cylindrically upward. The blower 14 is disposed above the cylindrical part 11a. Wind from the blower 14 thus passes the evaporation pan 11 and the opening part 11b formed in the evaporation pan 11 to be sent toward the compressor 13.
