PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable composition which can give a pressure-sensitive adhesive excellent in pressure-sensitive adhesiveness, softness, and water repellency. SOLUTION: This photopolymerizable composition is prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. radical-polymerizable monomer comprising an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 2-20C alkyl group with 1-70 pts.wt. tackifying resin, 0.01-5 pts.wt. photopolymerization initiator, and 5-40 pts.wt. silicone oil. When photopolymerized, the composition gives a pressure-sensitive adhesive which exhibits an excellent adhesive power to an adherend, is excellent in adhesion even to an adherend with a rough (uneven) surface, and almost inhibits water from penetrating into a small gap between an adherend and the adhesive, showing an excellent waterproofness.
