PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibody which bonds to human HMG (high mobility group protein)-1 but not to human HMG-2, and a immunological determination reagent and a immunological determination method of human HMG-1 which does not detect HMG-2, and in which correct measured HMG-1 value without error can be obtained, operation of determination is simple, and automatization is possible. SOLUTION: The antibody which bonds to human HMG-1 but not to human HMG-2, the method and reagent for determining human HMG-1 in a sample using an antigen-antibody reaction by utilizing the antibody, are provided.
