An optical disk device, wherein tilt chassis (3, 201) having parallel main shaft (6) and countershaft (7) for guiding an optical pickup (50) in moving direction fixed thereto are disposed rotatably relative to a traverse chassis (4) having a spindle motor (2) fixed thereto so that the tilt chassis (3, 201) can be adjustably tilted relative to the transverse chassis (4) by a tilt adjusting means having two tilt adjusting parts (30, 31), whereby a tilt adjusting operation for adjusting the moving surface of the optical pickup so as to be parallel with the recording surface of an optical disk can be performed easily.
