PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection lens whose aberration is excellently reduced with simple configuration constituted of small number of lenses. SOLUTION: This projection lens is constituted substantially of five lenses, that is, a 1st lens (1) consisting of one lens having negative refractive power, a 2nd lens (20) consisting of one lens having positive refractive power, a 3rd lens (30) consisting of a 31st lens (31) having negative refractive power and a 32nd lens (32) having positive refractive power and having negative refractive power as a whole and a 4th lens (40) consisting of one lens having positive refractive power, which are disposed in this order from the screen side to the image surface side, and is formed to be nearly telecentric to the image surface. Then, the surface of the 1st lens (10) on the image surface side and the surface (42) of the 32nd lens (32) on the image surface side are formed to be aspherical.
