The method enables a user carrying out a voice dialog with a partner in the form of a person or computer over a line of the telecommunications network, whereby the line between the user and the partner is provided by a network provider for a charge and is automatically interrupted when a predefined switch-off criterion occurs. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a telecommunications network suitable for implementing the inventive method and a terminal with mobile telephone technology.
