PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of DME during engine stopping, and to allow usage of a fuel used at present in a case where the DME is not supplied due to incomplete infrastructure in a fuel supply system of a diesel engine using DME. SOLUTION: This system comprises: a fuel supply passage S1 connected to a fuel injector 5 of an engine from a DME tank via a selector valve 11; a fuel supply passage S2 branched at the selector valve 11 from a mixture tank 9 which mixes a diesel fuel and DME to store them and connected to the fuel injector 5; a fuel return passage R1 which connects the fuel overflowed from the fuel injector 5 to the DME tank 1 via the cut-off valve 12; a fuel return passage R2 which branches the overflowed fuel at the cut-off valve 12 to connect to the mixing tank 9; a DME concentration sensor 21 arranged to the fuel return passage R2; and a control means 30 for controlling switching of the both fuel supply passages.
