PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and jigs for an efficient work execution to install a prefabricated integrated type manhole, which can completely stop water and accurately position a bottom plate and a lower manhole body in an excavated ditch. SOLUTION: The installation work method for a manhole according to this invention is characterized in that in installing an integrated type manhole lower part comprising the bottom plate 1 and a lower body 3 made in one, a split type ring-shaped installation jig 10 is placed at a manhole installation position on the bottom surface L of an excavated ditch, then the manhole lower body is put down into the excavated ditch and installed in place within the installation jig 10, which is then split into two and removed from the manhole lower body 10.
