PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion polymer that contains less amount of oligomer components than the conventional emulsion polymers, and can provide a cured product that is excellent in water resistance and durability. SOLUTION: This emulsion polymer has an amount less than 20 wt.% per the solid components in the total polymeric material, of low-molecular weight components having a polystyrene-converted molecular weight of <=100,000 measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPV).
