PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen stain of a washing body without increasing the amount of washing water used in a vehicle washing method for washing a vehicle surface of a vehicle by using a vehicle washing machine having the washing body attached on a frame. SOLUTION: In the vehicle washing method for washing a car body surface by using a rotating brush device B on the running frame 1, the car body surface is washed with a top brush 5 and a side brush 6 of the rotating brush device B by using a detergent containing a surfactant obtained from a microorganism existing in the natural world.
