PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously prevent display variance caused by the difference in cell thickness of a liquid crystal display device and the display variance caused by contact between liquid crystal and a sealant, which have a trade-off relation to each other. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel made by sticking two substrates facing each other to each other with a sealing material provided with a liquid crystal injection port 4 between them is charged with liquid crystal excessively, and a first pressure is applied to the liquid crystal panel to extrude and remove excessive liquid crystal through the injection port 4 and is reduced to a second pressure to pull liquid crystal 13 at the injection port 4 into the liquid crystal panel, and thereafter, the injection port 4 is coated with a sealant 15 to precisely form a minute space 14 between the liquid crystal 13 and the sealant 15 in a charging port area 17 while controlling its size, and the pressure is reduced to a third pressure to pull the sealant 15 into the liquid crystal panel, and the sealant 15 is hardened.
