PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal polyester resin composition capable of producing a molded article having excellent thermal resistance stability under hot temperature without generating a blister on the formed article at the solder welding. SOLUTION: [1] The liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprises a liquid crystal polyester forming an anisotropic melting phase in an amount of 10 parts by weight, and at least one of phosphite compounds represented by formula (1) in an amount of from 0.01 to less than 0.2 parts by weight. [2] In the resin composition described in [1], the liquid crystal polyester forming anisotropic melting phase is a liquid crystal polyester obtained by acylating a monomer hydroxyl group in a reaction system, comprising aromatic hydroxyl carboxylic acid, aromatic diol and dicarboxylic acid with an excessive amount of a fatty acid anhydrate to obtain an acylated compound, and ester-exchanging the acylated compound and carboxylic acid in a reaction system.
