PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which can be visually recognized by a user not only from the front of the recorder, but from a different direction such as from above the recorder through a light guide means such as a light guide, even when light of an LED or the like light source is a single light source. SOLUTION: There are provided a first light guide means and a second light guide means for guiding light from the light source 24 to a display 20. The light guided by the first light guide means and the light guided by the second light guide means are emitted towards mutually different directions from the display 20 to the outside of the recorder.
