The crutch halter for persons with foot injuries or other disorders necessitating the use of crutches comprises a body belt (1), which can be of various materials and adjustable to all body sizes, to which two belt loops (2) can be connected in favorable positions for crutches. On the belt loops are distance bands (3), which can comprise various materials, and can be adjusted to the step width of the crutch user. Suspension rings (4) are provided, which are easy to install and release. They make possible the fitment of the crutches in the usage position and their movement to one where they are not used. With crutch clamps (5), the crutches with the distance band are fixed to the body belt. The crutch clamps are of metal or plastic and are connected with the suspension rings to the distance band.
