<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove foreign substances contained in food waste in equipment for converting the food waste produced at a catering facility, a hotel a convenience store, a dining room a restaurant, and the like, into a livestock feed and a fertilizer for plants. SOLUTION: This treating equipment of the food waste comprises a receiving hopper for receiving the food waste, a self-cleaning double-screw extruder for extruding the food waste fed from the receiving hopper to an exit while grinding it, a dryer for drying the food waste treated with the double-screw extruder, and a sifting device for screen classifying the dried food waste in this order. It is desirable to install a crusher for cutting and crushing the food waste between the hopper and the double-screw extruder or a gravity classifier at the back of the sifting device.</p> |
