Synchronizer for gearboxes of motor vehicles

The motor vehicle gearbox synchronizer has a free pinion (10) on a shaft (2). A hub (20) is fixed to the shaft and there is a synchronizing sleeve (40A) driven for rotation by the hub and displaced axially between the hub and the pinion by the drive. The latter has a radial ball pusher (51) and a ramp (53) formed on the inner surface of the sleeve. The pusher has a support (54) axially movable on the hub and seated in a radial lodgement in an arm of the hub.
