PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connector which can be readily detached and a vacuum cleaner using the same. SOLUTION: The detachable pipe connector is formed with a flexible deformable portion 13a by providing a slit 12a at the end portion 11 on the connecting side of one pipe 1 of a pair of pipes (1, 3) detachably connected, is provided with an engaged portion 14a on the outer peripheral side of the flexible deformable portion 13a, is formed with a flexible deformable portion 9 by providing a slit 8 at the end portion 7 on the connecting side of the other pipe 3 to which the flexible deformable portion 13a is engaged, and is integrally formed with an engaging portion 10 on the inner peripheral side of the flexible deformable portion 9 of the other pipe 3.
