PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum control system for a needle-less syringe. SOLUTION: The vacuum control system for this jet syringe includes a power supply and a vacuum pump generating suction at the leading end of a syringe. This syringe includes a drive bar for discharging a drug into a patient. Before injection, the drive bar and an internal barrel are separated from each other and, at the time of completion of injection, the drive bar comes into contact with the internal barrel. A user operable switch movable between an ON position and an OFF position is also provided. All of the power supply, the vacuum pump, the drive bar, the internal barrel and the user operable switch are electrically connected through an electric circuit. This electric circuit starts the vacuum pump when the user-operable-switch is set to the ON position and the drive bar is separated from the internal barrel and stops the vacuum pump when the drive bar comes into contact with the internal barrel. |
