PURPOSE: A manual transmission for a vehicle is provided to reduce vibration when operating speed changing and to reduce secondary shift shock after synchronizing. CONSTITUTION: A manual transmission for a vehicle includes a gear shift lever; a first control shaft(14); a second control shaft(22) and a damper unit. The first control shaft rotates and moves rectilinearly by receiving operational force of the gear shift lever. The second control shaft is connected to the first control shaft. The second control shaft operates a synchronizer of a transmission by rotation and rectilinear motions of the first control shaft. The damper unit is installed between the first control shaft and the second control shaft. The damper unit reduces vibration generated by shifting of the gear shift lever. Therefore, speed changing performance is improved.
