摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a trace of a servo welding gun is provided to form a smooth curved trace for the servo welding gun by simultaneously moving a robot and an electrode. CONSTITUTION: A controller is provided to control a robot welding system. A worker handles the controller to control the robot welding system. A robot controller controls the robot welding system based on a control signal applied from the controller and a predetermined program. A robot unit having a mechanical unit therein is operated by a control signal applied from the robot controller. A servo welding gun is provided at a front end of the robot unit to perform a welding process with respect to a workpiece(5). The servo welding gun includes a moving electrode(4-1), a fixing electrode(4-2), a motor and an encoder.
