PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera imaging apparatus that can automatically be changed over to a portrait mode when detecting a face image so as to prevent photographing mistake caused by forgotten setting and automatically contain all people within a depth of field when detecting a plurality of people. SOLUTION: The digital camera imaging apparatus comprises an image memory 20 for storing one object image, an image capture section 21 for capturing the image from the memory 20 to other memory or register in a prescribed unit, a control section 22 for controlling the entire sections, a face feature storage section 24 for storing features of a plurality of faces, a comparison section 23 for comparing data from the image capture section 21 with data from the face feature storage section 24 and giving the result to the control section 22, and an output section 25 for outputting a final determination result externally. |
