PURPOSE: A washing machine with a buoyancy clutch is provided to simplify the change of power transmission path between washing and dehydration modes and rotate a pulsator and a washing tub in opposition for improving the washing efficiency, wherein the buoyancy clutch operates with stability by a sealing element. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a buoyancy clutch(80), and a sealing element for blocking a coupling portion between a float of the buoyancy clutch and a washing shaft(74) from the outside. The buoyancy clutch includes the float(82) serration-coupled with the washing shaft to move vertically in response to the water supplying or draining, and a fixing element(83) fixed to an upper end of a dehydration shaft to be coupled with or separated from the float at a lower part of the float. The sealing element is to be a bellows pack(90) located between the float and the pulsator for surrounding an upper end of the washing shaft and has a lower end contacting a top surface of the float and an upper end contacting a bottom surface of the pulsator, thereby forming a sealed space inside. |
