PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the cleaning of an optical system by unitizing 1st and 2nd mirrors and an image forming lens being an optical system so that the unit can be exchanged and also constituting the unit so as to be opened/closed to an image forming device main body, and to miniaturize the optical system so that the image forming device main body may be miniaturized. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a cabinet cover unit 14 having a control panel part, and an optical system incorporating unit 11 incorporating a scanner part 7 and having a separation roller 15 carrying an original to the cover glass of the scanner part 7. The unit 11 can be opened/ closed, and the unit 14 is provided to be opened/closed so that the unit 11 may be exposed when the unit 14 is opened. An original carrying path is provided between the units 14 and 11 in order to read the original by the scanner part 7, and a recording paper carrying path for recording paper already recorded by a recording part 1 is provided between the unit 11 and the device main body. |
