PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a pile capable of having a very simple structure and easily carrying out connecting work in spite of having a swivel stopping mechanism. SOLUTION: A plurality of engaging grooves 6 consisting of the axial groove part 6a formed axially from the end face thereof and the circumferential groove part 6b formed in the circumference by linking with the lower part thereof are provided to the inside circumference of a fitting female section 4 at circumferential intervals, a plurality of engaging projections 7 fitting into the axial groove part 6a with the fitting to the fitting female section 4 are provided in the circumference of a fitting male section 3 at an interval in the direction of the circumference, at the same time, rotation preventing members 8 are so temporarily stopped that they are located upward of the engaging projections 7 and are lined with the projections in the direction of the axis, and when the fitting male section 3 fitted to the fitting female section 4 is rotated, the engaging projections 7 are fitted into the circumferential groove part 6b of the engaging grooves 6, at the same time, the temporary stop of the rotation preventing members 8 is released to drop the rotation preventing members 8 to the inside of the axial groove part 6a, and an inlet of the circumferential groove part 6b can be closed.
