<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor capable of preventing degradation of characteristics caused by demagnetization of a permanent magnet by minimizing the magnetic field which works on the permanent magnet from primary loop- back conductor current. SOLUTION: In this linear motor where the permanent magnets 1 with the polarizing direction opposite to each other are alternately arranged along the running direction of a carrier 2, and the current of primary loop-back conductors 51, 52 fixed on a track side is electromagnetically coupled with secondary pickup coils 31, 32 mounted on the carrier 2 to supply electric power to an armature coil 4 of the linear motor mounted on the carrier 2 with no contact, the secondary pickup coils 31, 32 and the primary reciprocating conductors 51, 52 are disposed on both right and left sides of the carrier 2, and the current flowing through the conductors facing each other in the roughly horizontal direction of the respective primary loop-back conductors 51, 52 are kept in the same direction.</p> |
