PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sustained-release agent which can compatilize exhibition of effects by hinokitiol with durability of effects by controlling the transpiration rate of hinokitiol having difficulty in the conventional technique and can inexpensively be produced. SOLUTION: This hinokitiol sustained-release agent is obtained by using both a hinokitiol metal salt and an acidic phosphorus compound and preferably supporting the hinokitiol metal salt and the acidic phosphorus compound on a mineral substance.
