发明名称 METHOD FOR PRODUCING WORK PIECES HAVING A SURFACE OF A MONOTECTIC ALLOY
摘要 Monotectic alloying of workpiece surfaces takes place when monotectic alloys or monotectic alloying components are heated to homogeneous liquefaction and solidified by rapid chilling. The developed surface layer is bonded to the workpiece's surface. The whole or part of the surface is melted and alloyed in this process. Molten pools are established on the otherwise cold surfaces by high energy density radiation. Monotectic alloys or one or more alloying components for the completion of a monotectic layer are introduced in the surface. Molten 'pool' and alloy formation is continuous, due to displacement of the workpiece relative to high energy density radiation. Concurrently with melting, the previously molten pool is chilled by a minimum rate of 100 k/second. This process is continued until a sufficiently large monotectic work surface is prepared.
