发明名称 TEMPERATURE FUSE FOR SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE: A temperature fuse for a secondary battery is provided, which is manufactured at a low cost and has a melting point enough to be used at the locally heated component of a vehicle exposed to a direct ray of light. CONSTITUTION: The temperature fuse is made of an alloy comprising 75-96 wt% of Sn; 4-16 wt% of Zn; 0-6 wt% of Pb; and the balance of inevitable impurities. Optionally the alloy comprises further 40 wt% or less of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of K, Na, In and Bi. The temperature fuse is loaded in the inside of a battery, is coated with an insulating coating to avoid the direct contact with an electrolyte solution or an electrode, and is adhered to any one between cathode or anode plates to enable the tap of the electrode adhered with the fuse to be shorted if the fuse is shorted. Also the temperature fuse(20) is loaded in the outside of a battery, is coated with an thermal insulating coating(26) to avoid the temperature contact with the exterior, and is adhered to any one between cathode or anode plates to enable the tap(14) of the electrode adhered with the fuse to be shorted if the fuse is shorted.
