The drinking water fountain (1) has a removable bottle (2) inverted onto a receptacle (3) and supplying a distribution valve (6). An evaporator (5) chills the water upstream of the valve. A heating panel sleeve (7) surrounds the receptacle inside the sleeve to allow selective heating of the water to sterilization point.
