RESIN COATED FLEXIBLE STEEL PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin coated flexible steel pipe, which never includes halogen substances that will cause generation of hazardous gas such as hydrogen halide and dioxin or environmental pollution, and which is superior in a cutting and coat removing workability that does not cause chlorosis of the coating at a curved portion of the pipe. SOLUTION: A resin composition (resin coating 2) for coating a flexible metallic pipe 1 is used to form a resin coated flexible steel pipe 3. This composition does not include halogen substances and a crystal melting heat of a polymer component is 20 to 120 J/g when the resin composition is measured by a differential scanning calorimeter.
