PURPOSE: A water saving hydrant is provided to minimize water consumption and achieve improved convenience of installation, while minimizing faults of hydrant. CONSTITUTION: A water saving hydrant comprises a motor sensor unit(100), an open/shut control unit(200), a water flow rate control unit(300), a manual control unit(400) and a water supply unit(500). The motor sensor unit includes a driving motor(110), a cylindrical motor screw(111) coupled to a motor shaft(115), a power connection terminal(117), a sensor connection part(113) and an external sensor. The open/shut control unit includes a support case(210), a first screw part, a second screw part and a power cut-off device, and is disposed at the side surface of the motor sensor unit. The water flow rate control unit is disposed beneath the motor sensor unit and the open/shut control unit. The water flow rate control unit includes a water flow rate control case(310) having open top, bottom and side surfaces, and a water flow rate control guide(320) arranged at the closed side surface of the water flow rate control case. The manual control unit includes a manual control valve(410) having a protruded surface and a flat surface, and a first shaft(420) and a second shaft(430) arranged beneath the manual control valve. The water supply unit includes an open/shut control shaft(510) contacting a lower slope(323) of the water flow rate control guide.
