PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional preview display method for a print page, wherein an actual print result is not expressed because an insertion page not included in a document is not considered. SOLUTION: When information about index paper inserted between pages stored in a document file including and storing information about at least a chapter and a page included in the chapter is set, the information about the set index paper is stored, and a print preview of the inserted index paper and each the page included in the document information are generated and displayed on the basis of the information aboout the index paper and the document information stored in the document file.
