摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high zirconia fused refractory materials which have no occurrence of a peeling phenomenon on temperature increasing, have reduced residual expansion coefficients, and have high foaming properties to fused glass, and to provide a production method therefor. SOLUTION: The fused refractory materials are each formed of a casting having chemical components containing, by weight, 86 to 96% ZrO2 , 3 to 10% SiO2 , and 0.5 to 2% Al2 O3 . The cast surface of the casting is removed. The residual stress of the remaining surface is lower than that of the cast surface. For example, the residual stress of the surface is a tension of <=20 MPa, or a compressive force of <=10 MPa. For this purpose, the area to >=15 mm depth from the cast surface of the casting is removed.
