PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved sley unit that can be used in both of the one case where only one main nozzle is used and the other case where the main nozzle is combined with another tandem type pre-nozzle as an ideal embodiment. SOLUTION: The sley unit is equipped with the sley profile (1), the reed (2) and the driving mechanism (3). The sley profile (1) supports the reed (2) and the sley unit for the loom is actively connected to the driving mechanism (3). In this case, the sley unit is equipped with at least two different parts, namely the main profile part (4) and the auxiliary profile part (5) where the auxiliary profile part (5) is detachably connected to the main profile (2) directly or indirectly.
