In the preferred embodiment, the present invention includes a central processing unit that includes a variety of engines. The engines perform the functions of transforming data, analyzing financial information, applying tax rules to arrive at adjustments and individual tax liabilities, data formatting and storage, and the preparation of detailed reports, forms, and schedules to expedite the preparation of documents for filing in accordance with compulsory regulations of institutions such as the Internal Revenue Service and Securities and Exchange Commission. |
