FIELD: agricultural equipment used in farms. SUBSTANCE: mower has frame, cutterbar and drive. Cutterbar has springs of triangular section, which are joined to one another, and fingers defining surfaces with shear segments. Stoppers are welded to spring ends and small sprockets are fixed to stoppers. Cutterbar drive has brace-and-bit shaft with two large sprockets and intermediate shaft with two large sprockets at its ends and two small sprockets. Large sprockets of intermediate shaft are connected through drive chains with small sprockets of stoppers at spring ends. Large sprockets of brace-and-bit shaft are connected through drive chains with small sprockets of intermediate shaft. Operator attaches mower to his body by means of mounting band and begins to rotate brace-and- bit shaft with both hands. Rotational motion is transmitted to springs to provide for grass mowing. EFFECT: reduced metal usage, reduced labor intensity and increased efficiency. 2 dwg
