<p>The present invention is directed to a simple and efficient method for in vitro screening of antiviral drugs. In one embodiment, an immunoassay for measuring the amount of HCV core protein in an in vitro HCV replicating system is used. This method can be used for high throughput screening of drugs that can potentially be used to treat HCV infection in patients.</p> |
