<p>The invention concerns a device for powering cathodes of a diaphragm chlorine-soda electrolysis cell comprising: an electrical connection component (16) consisting of a copper plate fixed by electrical connecting means on the outside of one of the side walls (11) of the electrolysis tank (10) and electrically connected to the inside of the cathodes (21-1 to 12-n) through gird bars (14-1 to 14-n). The invention is mainly characterized in that the electrical connection means between the copper plate and the wall (11) are provided by an assembly of plug welds (18-1 to 18-m) through a plurality of orifices previously produced in the copper plates and whereof the ends in electrical contact with the side wall are arranged such that the travel paths of the current between each plug weld and the end of the closest gird bar should be all identical.</p> |
