PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding method which enables injection molding while ensuring uniform and high dimensional accuracy over the total length of the spiral groove part of a molded article without generating warpage, contraction or the like in the molded article comprising a synthetic resin and having the spiral groove part, and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: In the resin molding method and the apparatus therefor, a cavity insert 5 and a core insert 6, both of which open a mold from a butt surface and form spiral groove parts to the surface of the molded article 1 in different directions, and a rotary body 7 capable of rotating the cavity insert 5 and the core insert 6 in a rotary direction are provided and the mold is opened so as to be matched with the lead ratio having a spiral shape of the groove parts while rotating the cavity insert 5 and the core insert 6 circumferentially without rotating the molded article 1. By this constitution, the molded article 1 having the spiral groove parts can be accurately and inexpensively formed by the molding of the resin using a compact and simple mold structure.
