PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive recording medium with such advantages that the whiteness of a heat-sensitive paper is high, coloring at the white paper part does not occur in environment-resistant tests, especially simulation tests under high temperature environments such as the inside of an automobile in a hot summer weather or a heating cooking by using an electronic oven, and further, the resistance to oil and a plasticizer is high so that a color-developed image can be stably preserved for a long time. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording medium is composed of a sheet-like base and a heat-sensitive color developing layer which is formed on at least one of the sides of the base and contains a colorless or pale-color dye precursor and a developer which makes the dye precursor develop a color through a chemical reaction with the dye precursor by heat. The developer to be added is at least one kind selected from chemical compounds represented by formulae (I), (II) and (III). |
