<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cleaning the inside of a water pipe, by which the scale stuck to the inside of the water pipe can surely be removed and which can cope with such a site condition that water pressure of the water pipe is high or a commercial power source can not be used, and to provide a method for cleaning the inside of the water pipe by using the apparatus. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a forked pipe 22 which is attached to or detached from the stopcock 11 of the water pipe 10 by a metallic fitting tool 21, a discharge valve 23 connected to one connection port 22a of the pipe 22 and a compressed gas supply unit 30 connected to the other connection port 22b of the pipe 22 while a check valve 24 is interposed between them. The unit 30 is provided with a compressor 32, a compressed air storage tank 33, a pressure regulating valve 34 and a solenoid valve 31 connected to the valve 24 which are connected successively to one another by using a pipeline and furthermore a control means for opening or closing the valve 31 according to a set control pattern.</p> |
