PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying member capable of exercising the superior pulverized matter-proof performance in both of an initial condition and a use condition. SOLUTION: In this conveying member for conveying a sheet material in a state of being kept into contact with the same, a surface of the conveying member is composed in such manner that its pulverized matter-proof performance is increased after the abrasion in comparison with that before the abrasion.
