PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fusion-bonding processing apparatus capable of preventing burr from generating along the space between inclined end surfaces to the utmost at the time of thermal fusion-bonding and not almost requiring deburring work. SOLUTION: The thermal fusion-bonding processing apparatus is an apparatus constituted so that the ends in the axial direction of long thermally fusible mold materials (articles to be processed) are formed as inclined end surfaces inclined at an angleαof inclination with respect to the axial direction, and the inclined end surfaces are abutted to thermally fusion-bond the articles H to be processed at an inner angle 2α. This apparatus includes a pair of grasping means for the articles to be processed for grasping the articles to be processed to guide the inclined end surfaces thereof from a standby position to a thermal fusion-bonding position, a pair of cutter means 21 for cutting the ends HX in the axial direction of the articles to be processed to form the inclined end surfaces, and a heater means for thermally melting the inclined end surfaces. The respective grasping means for the articles to be processed guides the articles to be processed to the standby position and the thermal fusion-bonding position along the axial direction, while keeping the inclined end surfaces of the articles to be processed in a mutually parallelly opposed state and thermally fusion- bonds the inclined end surfaces of the articles to be processed in an abutted state. |
