摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head to which slit machining channels is facilitated and which can be made compact and reduced in costs and has superior jet characteristics. SOLUTION: A lamination type piezoelectric element is arranged on a substrate correspondingly to nozzle holes and pressure liquid chambers. Ink is jetted from nozzle holes by pressuring the pressure liquid chambers by a displacement in a d33 direction of the lamination type piezoelectric element. In the ink jet head, both electrodes of plus poles 11a and minus poles (GND) 11b of external electrodes of the lamination type piezoelectric element are formed on an equal face (right end face) of the lamination type piezoelectric element, and moreover, slit machining grooves 13 for forming discrete piezoelectric elements by cutting the lamination type piezoelectric element are constituted so that the plus electrodes of the external electrodes are discretely cut and the slits are prevented from completely reaching the substrate 101.
