PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin carrying device capable of preventing a coin from being carried in poor performance. SOLUTION: The coin carrying device 1 is equipped with timing belts 7 and 21 which have inside surfaces furnished with a number of grooves and teeth alternately in such a way as engaging with the teeth and grooves of a drive pulley and which are set over the drive pulley and a follower pulley for transporting the coin placed on their outside surfaces 7b and 21b when the drive pulley is rotated. Since the timing belts 7 and 21 are driven through engagement of the timing belts 7 and 21 when the drive pulley is rotated, there is no risk such that any slip is generated between the driven pulley and the timing belts 7 and 21.
