The separator contains a hydrophilic structure (24) inside the body defining an internal (26) and an external (28) space. Means (34) of creating turbulence in the mixture's flow as it flows into the internal space allows the liquid to be recovered against the walls of the hydrophilic structure. The gas outlet connects to the internal space and the liquid outlet connects to the external space. A gas/liquid phase separator (12) has a body (20), an inlet (18) for a two-phase gas-liquid mixture to be separated, an outlet (22) for the gas and an outlet (30) for the liquid. The means of creating turbulence is a device profiled in particular into a helix, or are part of the hydrophilic structure extending as a spiral from the side and corrugated in cross section. An intermediary hydrophilic membrane divides the internal space into a central zone and an intercalated zone. The separator includes a purge to evacuate gas from the intercalated zone. The hydrophilic structure is a main hydrophilic membrane. The intermediary membrane has a bubble point lower than that of the main membrane. The inlet for the mixture and the gas outlet are axial with reference to the direction of flow of the mixture, and the liquid outlet is radial. An Independent claim is also included for an energy production assembly based on an incinerator, which has a cathodic compartment, an anodic compartment, at least two gas feed circuits and at least two outlets, each of which can evacuate a gas/water mixture from the incinerator. At least one outlet circuit of this assembly contains a phase separator as described above.
