The invention relates to a cutting die for tools used in the machining of workpieces. Said die comprises at least one level underside (31) and an upper side (32) that faces away from the latter, in addition to at least one cutting edge (23) that is located in the vicinity of the upper side (32). A through hole, which has at least one axial section (41), is provided in the cutting die (22). The peripheral surface of said axial section is configured as a bearing surface (42) for the head of a fixing screw and widens towards the upper side (32) of the cutting die (22). The rotational axis (43) of the bearing surface (42) is inclined in relation to a surface normal of the underside (31) of the cutting die (22), whereby the angle of inclination ( alpha ) ranges between 2 DEG and 30 DEG and the inclination plane is aligned at least approximately at right angles to the horizontal projection of the cutting edge (23). |
