PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic electronic component, for which a soldering property to an electrode of a lead terminal is superior, degradation of characteristics due to oxidation of an electrode at the time of jointing the lead terminal by solders under a high temperature is reduced, the degradation of the electrode due to use under high temperature is reduced, and the degradation of tensile strength of the lead terminal due to the use under the high temperature is reduced. SOLUTION: A ceramic capacitor 10, as the ceramic electronic component, is provided with a disk-like ceramic element 12 composed of a ceramic dielectric. On both the main surfaces of the ceramic element 12, the electrodes 14a and 14b are respectively formed. The electrodes 14a and 14b are provided with a four-layer structure of first electrode layers 16a and 16b to fourth electrode layers 22a and 22b, composed of Ni-Ti and Cu. To the electrodes 14a and 14b, the lead terminals 24a and 24b are respectively jointed by the solders 26a and 26b made of Sn-Cu.
